Bug Description:
Right what it says on the tin, marines in transit on the Rasputin and possibly the pod can't receive communications. Unknown if they can send. I'm treating this as a bug because it's never done it before.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Board Rasputin and launch
2. Try to use comms
3. Fail, proceed to cry

Re: Comms in transit bug
It's been implemented for a reason I guess.. You're flying like what.. One thousand kilometers per hour to the ground? Shouldn't catch up with comms.

Re: Comms in transit bug
Signed up just to say that no the shuttle isn't outrunning radio waves don't be silly.
The thing is even IRL spaceships during atmospheric re-entry lose coms with ground control because of the plasma sheath* surrounding their craft blocking all transmissions. I think there are ways to cancel this out but I'm not sure and dont feel like looking it up.
I always thought it was a nice touch for immersion and would like it to stay.
*Basically big fire ball around spaceship blocks coms
