Description of the incident: Mr. Larson, decided that medbay was going way too slowly, so he asks the XO to reassign him to become a doctor. Sad part is the doctors were working pretty hard because shortly before Larson's complaints a Runner got on ship somehow (runner 219 I believe?!?). Who basically killed off Medical besides (Alexis 'Three-Way' Wolf) , who was already attacked and was being worked on by the CMO at the time Nina Taylor. While she was working on him, a runner surprised and decapped the CMO with Wolf on the table still untreated. The marines wakes up the injured Wolf to tell him to reattach the CMO's head. So he does that and clones her. After that occurs the CMO has to finish her job with Wolf, sort of why the 4 guys in the lobby (who were all stable by the way) were untreated because medical was recovering since getting up another doctor on their feet is better to do since it cuts the work in half. So back to Larson, he heads to the XO for the reassignment and I sort of confront him in LOOC (of course I could of been alot less aggressive with this but its pet peeve of mine when marines are yelling the doctors are doing nothing when they are....) So the XO reassigns him (without admin consent I believe since the only higher up on the server at the time was Sargeantmuffinman (a mentor), sort of the reason why I included him in the log photos I posted below.)
Edit: So It seems Sarge provided consent to this, also sad thing to this was if those 4 guys didn't need bone repair surgery the cryomix would fixed them up

Edit: I notice in my photo I forgot a line which is the XO saying "To What" which is why you see Larson say doctor again in the middle. Also seems I accidently put in a line I said twice which was missing a They're....

Alexis here, One of the runners came out most likely because a larva earlier bursted out of a marine, run under a door and went into the vents, i have no idea how there was 2, but later on, when the first one is killed in bridge, and the XO is treated, i come back to medbay, and my fellow doctor starts screaming for help in medbay.


After some time i went to genetics, got pounced on and almost slashed to death, but managed to get back up the ladder, MP's later tried to take care of it, i treated myself and later on get put into cryo by CMO (who has made a rather amazing cryo mix that recovered people very quickly) and then got me to surgery, then a runner came out, ambushed her, started slashing her, and out of the Operation Room 2, i was still in anesthetics and i thought i was doomed, but the runner never came back to murder me.



I later get awaken by Victor (Technokot) and some other guy, Victor asked me in looc if they have permission to kill and clone me (most likely they thought i was utterly fucked) but i refused, i get awoken, told to reattach CMO's head, which i do, albeit with blindess, it was not untill i actually cloned her my sight took a turn for worse and i became almost completley blind, only able to see around me, after CMO is clonned (which was preety close if Victor did not yelled for me to keep trying), then i asked for her to finish my treatment so i can help the others, because according to the radio, there was some critical marines out there, after finnaly getting restored, the round then became normal for me.


Although i found it strange there was another doctor now on the team, because i could have sworn there was a max of 3-4 of them, i can't say anything else other than repeat what was said TBH, as far as i am aware, there was no way for us to treat anyone after CMO died along with the other doctor, and me slowly becoming blind, while i could have kept going, blindess would just make it massively annoying to do and i would miss out some details of the reports.

I dont believe this was powergaming at all. I spawned in as a Marine as that was my only option. I went to medbay as I usually play as a Doctor to see if the situation warranted another Doctor which at the time it did as there was like one Doctor running around trying to fix 3-5 marines at the time. I went to the XO Desk and AHelped to ask if this was ok to be re-assigned as a Sulaco Doctor at which point I was indeed told I could if the Bridge staff approved it which they did. I was also told via the ahelp if approved to deposit all marine gear into a locker which I also did upon being approved by the XO also. I placed my gear in a locker, suited up as a Doctor etc with no weapons or anything and began to assist the other doctor providing surgery to the mass of marines piling up.

For the rest of the round, I roleplayed as a Doctor and followed the Doctor specific rules as what Is required of me. I honestly think this is a petty reason to report someone when approval had been given but should you staff deem my actions inappropriate, I'll take any punishment.

Look, this is a video game.

The issue we have is marines shooting aliens, going to the planet, bombing the queen and then on their spare time extracting some larva from infected marines.

A player who gets his role changed, abandons all the marine stuff and properly becomes a doctor is not a problem.

Weve allowed doctors, command staff and MTs to change to marines before. I personally dont have a issue with someone switching to another position properly.
