Burst fire on Pulse Rifle hits marines standing next to you

Bug Description:
Get and m4a1 and put it on burst fire, stand next to someone and shoot down-range. Odd's are it will end up shooting the guy next to you.


That's downright retarded. Trained marines aren't going to shoot the guy standing next to them because its on burst fire.

I think that video would have been more applicable had Rico been standing beside the headshot'd guy, and the bullets had curved at a 90° angle immediately upon leaving the rifle to hit him.

Yeah, he clearly gets his head blown off by the chick in front of him, standing in front of her with his helmet off. This is like all of the sullies marines are 5'2" women that can't handle the three round burst and the gun flies around like a cartoon or some shit. Plus this is the future, why does the gun kick so fucking hard to shoot the boots standing directly next to you? It's shooting 10mm rounds not Magnum slugs out of a shotgun.


I've shot probably around 30 different rifles in my life including semi and fully auto and once with 3-round burst, and with strength and skill you can auto fire and burst fire with a good stance and training, which these marines would have. It aint accurate in fact they teach you to place your rounds instead of down sights, and usually only used for moving between cover putting rounds down range put the enemies head down.


I spent all round helping a guy I preferated in this situation, then we go back to fight and he steps UP to stand next to me and again gets preferated when I was shooting DIRECTLY forward no angle at all. I figured the first time was a fluke or something.

If it's true this weapon on burst (and thus likely every weapon on burst) fires at a 90 degree angle somehow that shit needs to be fixed quick.

Remember guys, always stand in the line of fire and aim for the head with burst fire with AP rounds. Because why the hell would we not kill our own instead of Xeno. Cases as Runner rushing within the group and trolling them, priceless.

Tested this. If you stand shoulder to shoulder, you won't hit friendlies. Some guns scatter more when fired on burst, but basic rifles and such work just fine. Invalid.
