Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc):Asked for Commander permission and was prepped to go to the FOB, was going to admin help it, but a Pred slipped in and showed off his wacky fun toys and made a mess of the bridge. I decided to chatter about it happening and got called a pansy, boyo, so I was all ready to head down and go to that nonexistent FOB. I didn't bother with the patty cake engies to fix it and I was going to help out, but that's too bad. Maybe if I made myself CO or XO since they both were probably dead? Dunno, just wanted to have a bit of fun, my bad for treading on the rule. Won't happen again. That one terminal waiting for me was just beckoning for me to hop on it in a space suit and give it a spin, so I'm sorry for not giving it a tickle. I would have coordinated the Sulaco back to par if I were to only do my job. Or maybe it doesn't matter? Maybe I deserve this? Yes and no. I absolutely think this is redundant and that if I made a little effort to fix that hole or shit around on the console that it'd make none the difference. I'm glad the Sulaco burned up in the atmosphere that round. I just want to have fun, son. Don't tread on me. Won't happen again, fam. In all seriousness, a warning would have sufficed unless I'm noted as incorrigible cunt or something.

That hole was there AFTER Apop was blowing/burning up Sulaco. I dropped a bomb right in the middle of it after sulaco "blew up".

They fully repaired the pred damage. I checked while you were on the planet. See the wooden floors? That was the BRAND NEW WOODEN FLOORING engineering installed over the pred damage. They were actually nearly finished re-pressurizing the room.

I thought the wooden flooring was there prior to the pred? If they were working so damn hastily and swell on the floor they could have used the radio to chatter so. Trying to make use of my round instead of twiddling my thumbs in the cafeteria, but that's what I should have done. Alas, I didn't so sorry for not waiting on the engies who are majority of the time nonexistent and/or rather useless, to be honest. I'll wait a few weeks or so if needed, but I fully get what I did was wrong. Was a swell ol'late join and seeking a bit o'fun, wasn't aiming to step on the rule's toes at all. Was for naught too since the pod LZ was xeno central.

I don't think they'll look at this and treat it like a jail free card, and if they do they're stupid af. It's right because some instance can be manipulated to drive a point, but most are just grasping at dust and slipping into a pit. If my job-ban is dropped to a warning instead of a ban then someone could take an instance of them being a BO and a pred blowing the bridge as an excuse to go down to the planet? No, mainly because I fully asserted that it's bad, but they could do the exact thing and try and abuse that fact. That's if this is even looked at and not buried, mind that, though that's beyond the point. Sure, someone can try to valid themselves from a job-ban from doing that, but will people actually go out to do that? No, if they're malignant enough they'll probably valid in some other way anyhow. If a person goes out of their way to rehash this, they're being a spiteful shit, most likely. Plus this instance isn't an every day event, so there's that. Never the less, I'll just wait a few weeks if need be.

Rules and RP and people are all a bunch of forces. All is swell. This rule is fine, RP isn't above it and neither are people, of course. I'd like more RP leniency when shit like a pred arm bombs the bridge or something, but that's just me wanting some fun. Anyways, thanks. I'll await it.

I was thinking of removing this, but then yesterday he made himself a "commander" ID as the XO, despite the commander only being dead. The commander was revived, and then there were 2 commanders until he changed it back.

It's against the rules to change IDs unless your demoting someone.

I genuinely was sorry about that, each time I tread on the rules I'm trying not to and running off of logic more than anything. You can take that how you want, but I'm trying to have fun and be useful. I mainly was thinking of succession and stuff, but the CO did get cloned way after we had our chat. I was taking over and left the commander ID in the machine, as you know. I already said there that I was going off of succession/SS13 mentality and that I was sorry. Just know I'm trying to progress the rounds and play for fun, not fuck the place over. Thanks and such, do as you must, I'll wait and/or be thankful either way.
