Delete throwing knife

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Delete throwing knife, as a piece of admin's piece of marasmus wich nobody uses it is.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):It will clear some useless garbage from server.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Not if I don't use throwing knifes, I always carry one with me, but why not combine it with marine combat knife or something? Why bother slot with usless anti-human weapon, if you can carry another magazine? And we all saw private Chui succesfully using combat knife as throwing weapon in Aliens:Rogue.

I've used throwing knives to kill aliens, predators and PMCs alike, but it doesn't justify their awkward placement in the game. I want them either combined with the regular combat knife, or I want to finally be able to put a throwing knife in my boot OR finally change the stupid throwing knife harness from a belt item to a uniform attachment that only accepts throwing knives. If neither of these things will ever happen then I'd be completely fine with just scrapping them entirely.

Throwing knives are supposed to be a joke for new players who think they can be some type of Solid Snake soldier.

BUT..

as the janitor i hate to see these knives all around the Sulaco so yes, delete OR make them suitable for the boots.

Why would you want this removed? They are useful, just underused. I think buffing them a tad would be better.

+1 Because as someone who plays as a medic/doctor and has to treat wounds constantly, I have ONLY seen the throwing knife used by idiots or griefers who throw the knife at their fellow marines in the cafeteria or in briefing. But I don't think, realism wise, that you can make the combat knife into a replacement as the throwing knife.
Aren't throwing knives specifically made for throwing not stabbing? If they are I don't think the combat knife could be thrown, at least not well, because of how it is made.

I like the throwing knives as they are a good silent weapon and pretty cool so mixing them with the marine combat knife would be great, plus it Would be a great HG weapon or like a knife belt, speaking of which it would be nice if those could hold more knives cause three is sort of low.

It's Sadako's long range weapon of choice in CL role.

Actually I am for the Knife Rig being able to hold more throwing knives. Or even for it to also hold marine knives.

And those aren't the same thing....

A marine knife is usually a multi-purpose tool with some features for making it also a good close-combat weapon.
You can throw it, or course, but it isn't that balanced.

Usually this knife have serrated portions of the blade, for aggravating the cuts. And also bottle or can openers.

A throwing knife? Is a specialized knife that can be used for hunting or as a throwing weapon in general, and is balanced.
It lacks the "toolish features" of a typical marine knife, and isn't that good for close combat.

Some throwing knives have special grooves on the metal, for retaining poison.
