Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Currently the Mag Strap only seems to work if your suits exo slot is free, I propose that it also be allowed to work if your backpack slot is free.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Will help for Marines forgoing their backpack slot to hold their longarm, such as Spec's or other stock Marines.

I think something similar was suggested over here, http://colonial-marines.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=6667 I see that you're suggesting the mag harness to work with this, but just wanted to point that thread out.
