Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
make hivelords able to destroy rocks, like pickaxes
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Currently it is an insanely good strategy to just dig a really long 1 wide tunnel and camp at the back of it as survivor, if hivelords could destroy the rocks too it would add a counter
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
not much to say, just need to also fix that thing with low pressure in caves (though that needs to be fixed anyway obviously)

Re: Make hivelords able to destroy rocks
My only problem with this is that nesting would become an even more salt filled adventure with this, for instance a hivelord could dig into the rock and just palce a nest surrounded by rock on all sides besides one which would have a resin door.
Besides that and maybe a poetential that it could delay the round through making a nest in the corner of the map with a small amount of aliens left.
I see why you'd want it but at the same time you don't really need to go for the survivors as there are tons of monkeys about and up for grabs.

I've have thought about this idea before, like why can't aliens just mine their way through rocks.
One really good reason that I can see this exploited is that you can run away way too easily and marines can never catch you. THe caves are already set up with marines having a sort of disadvantageous positioning due to the way there are narrow hallways. You're just setting marines to fail when you can zig zag the rock walls. This is just another defence mechanism that will endlessly extend the round.
Sure we can expand it, but this leads to my second reason. Alien meta. Too many times have I seen in several rounds where aliens would destroy the plasma cutter, mining tug, or other implements that they have no reason to do. Especially the plasma cutter. It doesn't stop weed growth but no, they decided, let's acid it. Prevents marines from using it on their walls as well as the rocks. Then what can we do if we want to chase you or cut down rocks? Nothing, there's nothing we can do.

Eh, I don't think this will happen. Maybe with some reworked tunnel mechanics. Denied for now.
