Wargame: Red Dragon

Post by Youbar » 20 Jun 2016, 01:43

This is one of the games that can bring you the closest as possible to real military operations.

The game consists of over 1700 units, and features 17 playable factions, each with their own unique equipment. Fuel, ammo, and health play a key role, and are simulated by the usage of logistics vehicles that provide these supplies. Multiplayer is a key focus of the series, and games usually last up to 60 minutes. However, Wargame isn't simple: it takes around a hundred hours to fully understand the basics, which you can then work on mastering. In fact, the Wargame Reddit has a link to a 200 page guide to playing.

It's not simple, but it's rewarding, and encourages proper strategy over who can click the fastest.

I love this game, its great fun whenever you manage to finally get things right. The community could use some work though.

Still reading the guide, but it seems like a badass game. When I get some money, it's number one on my list.

I'd recommend watching some gameplay videos of how it works to get a taste, first. You wouldn't want to make a bad purchase decision.

Here's a good video that demonstrates offensives, but also shows how the game works.

I Play wargame all the time, I must have like 20 nato decks. The only thing i dont like about it is the AI and how it refers to spamming as a tatic.
