Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Benefits will allow players to stay in action thus more fun time fighting and less time dying in medical
Details (every time i get into a group fight with marines i ALWAYS get shot in the back and start bleeding to death or WORSE drown in my own fluids. Please reduce the friendly fire damage' it just puts people out of action before they even get to fight

Sadly, it's a feature, and I highly doubt any changes will be made.

What's even sadder is because of AP rounds, its even easier to die not from your wounds, but from organ damage, which unless the medic somehow got peridaxon, you gonna die or be kept alive untill medivac, at that point the medic will waste more supplies on you than he ever will waste on a single marine with no organ damage

You can get more from medical though? That's the whole point, really. I take down two, use them, and make sure a Doc puts another in the pod/shuttle for me when I send someone up in one. Gotta keep the supplies flowing so you can keep healing.
Alternatively, leave some with the RO and have them added to supply drops.
Hell, leaving extra shit with Req is almost always a good plan.
