Summary: Issue department heads (CO, XO, CMO, RO and CE) a special Door Control Remote. This remote will only effect doors in their department (sans CO who has a all access door remote) that allows the user to open, close, bolt or allow anyone to open the door at whim.
Benefits: This would give individual department heads greater control over their department, as well as allowing them to more effectively allow people access to their department if needed.
For history, on /tg/ station we had a big debate over the role of the AI. For that we had a test period where the AI was removed but all heads of staff got a door control remote. While the removal of the AI was reversed the actual door control remotes were well received as they gave the Heads far greater physical control over their department. I would propose this idea for this server to help further give heads better control over their department.

Re: Give Department Heads Door Control Remotes
We have access levels for that reason, and it would be mess with aliens forcing airlocks open. Command may also lock down specific sectors if they so desire. Denied.
Also, you make a lot of suggestions. Unless you want me to autodeny the lot of them, pick those you actually care about.
Addendum: That may sound a bit dickish. Here's an explanation: There are 10+ pages of suggestions to go through, and another page of those that are accepted but are not implemented. Someone has to go through them by hand and approve/deny them. Unless you have a really good idea, in your mind, that you think will benefit the game and create discussion, don't make new topics. Ie, viewtopic.php?f=59&t=7075 <------ THAT. Bump old topics with discussion instead.
