Mines Identification.

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Mines detonate on contact with NON marine ID's

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Pred's and Survivors and those missing ID's will explode.
Mines are designed to injure hostiles humans, we have an IFF on turrets based on ID, mines would have the same or none at all. (which noone wants.)
This would stop Preds waltzing into FOBS without a care in the world.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Mine goes down, Unknown figure steps over it, boom. It's common sense and their damned designed use.


Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Add ID dependancy.
if ID=null= explode(?)

+1 for this. Was always surprised they didn't do it to begin with.

I'm always for another way for marines to cripple survivors with their ignorance.

+1. Mines should definitely trigger for Preds.

+1, didnt know preds didnt trigger mines. Maybe they shouldnt trigger while cloaked, but they should definitly trigger when uncloaked. That sounds like a bug.

Suddently preds steal IDs.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

+1, Mines should trigger on things that aren't marines. Not things that are aliens.. We should have to keep to fauna out of the minefields :P

Personally never had this issue as a survivor, but is good if triggered to a pred. Just cause I'd give a +1 because why the fuck not.
