2 handed melee weapons are SUPER slow now. Gives ample time for xenos to disarm you. Is there a reason for this change?

I got killed by a larva who just morphed into a young drone. I had the fireaxe but it didn't nothing :[

It was so slow. I was noticing this while 2 hand wielding the yautja warglaive too.

Aye, aye, they're a catcher of a robust eye.

Their slowdown makes machetes more appreciated, but the axe being kept at its glory is needed. It's not like there are many that use them, and melee users can get cheesed bad enough. It can't block like the machete, so having it stay the same as it always has would be swell. Dunno, if it actually got slowed down, a chance to block like the machete would be appreciated.

Uh...fire axe doesn't insta kill and its a bitch to hit a xeno who actually dodges, neither does a rifle instakill, a mine can be avoid by non-dumbasses and people who don't fall for easy to see tricks...

I feel this is very much the experience you would have if you tried to use a fireaxe in a fight in real life.
It is not a war axe.
At this point, FOB is an actual buzzword.

shit and cry on the forums even after a major alien buff because we're the whining kids like that and we dislike having to overcome even the slightest difficulties in our easy as fuck playstyle such as melee that's ez as shite for us in 1v1 so we just bitch till we get what we need.

Fireaxes aren't made to be swung easily at targets and aren't made to penetrate armour, they are made to bash through wood.

There are only like, four two handed weapons if you don't count the guns. I think they are all set with their own speed, and some are faster than others.

I think all melee weapons should have the ability to be used two handed, for Example, the Glaive is an exceptional melee weapon, with decent damage if one handed, but even more damage when wielded correctly with both hands for even more damage, just like the Fire Axe. These damage applications should be applied to all normal melee weapons. Bats, Knives, Spears, etc. The only weapon I can think of that doesn't need to be wielded is the whips.


SIDE SUGGESTION:

I think the riot shield should have a built in sheathe for the Machete, for those who carry heavy but never have space to place the machete, this should also apply to MPs using Batons. Think of a Paladin, they don't have waist sheathes like normal knights, well not all of them. They would have a sheathe built into their large shields for easy storage and access.

I like the idea, but I fail to see the logic behind having both hands on a KABAR. Now, a machete sure, but a KABAR doesn't have even have the grip for it.
It's not dying after you shot it a couple of times? I think the real question is, why didn't you keep shooting?
