Bug Description:
As an ancient spitter, might be applicable to other upgrade levels too, if you switch spit level. You lose your machine gun spit.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Obtain ancient spitter
2. Shoot to see your fire rate, switch spit types
3. Notice how your fire rate is decreased. You never get it back

I was actually thinking of reporting this, but I always forget at the end of the round to test it because I wasn't sure if that's really what caused it. I can confirm that it happens though. Not that it's really a terrible loss, as if spitters needed to be any more powerful, even if I like playing spitter a lot.

Can confirm this happens. Got ancient spitter for the first time, went holy shit at the fire rate. When I switched back and forth between spit types it was gone
I think I was the one who told you about it, Warnipple. I remember ahelping it.

Yup, all credit goes to you. I had to see it for myself though.
