Ghetto Cryo-Pod:
Inject the injured with a good amount of cryex/clonex, drag them through the doors ( seal each one as you walk through, dont want that oxygen getting out) and toss them in. Watch that health bar go right on up.
Notes:
-You want to have 3 airlocks between the cryo room and the exit point. This is so you can pump out all the valuable cold air. This might cause suction though, so ehhh. bugs to be worked out.
-You'll likely need internals, Its going to be very cold in there of course.
-You want some high pressure pumps sucking out any cold air that might escape when you try to exit the chamber ( possible solution: switch to a 2 pipe system, ICE-cold oxygen and NORMAL temp air. Suck out one, then insert the other so you dont need a bunch of airlocks.)
-You could likely scale this up, make massive cryo chambers for healing a bunch of wounded people. Go even farther and build some cloners in there, now you got a Mr. Freeze Medbay. Go even further and install an Operating room. Just use "Leporazine" ( Silcon, copper, Phoron catalyst) and you can perform your Mr. Freeze Surgery. hehe.
ALRIGHTY! update as of april 12th of the 17th!
so! ive finally gave the design a test run! it aint beautiful, but it does work! which means we can start to improve upon it! heres some notes ive gathered so far.
-Current design uses 2 air pumps, 2 freezers, 1 hipower pump, and a canister port.
-The freezers were carrying super bins, pico manipulaters, and advanced capaciters.
-To get cryomixes to work, you need a body temp past -103*c
-this design can put a person into -170*c in about 4 seconds of exposure. This can go as high as -205*c body temp.
-Ive been loading the pressure tank to about 240 kpa.
-The high pressure means i can flood an area with cold gas really quickly, but, this can cause over pressure problems, and a small amount of cold bleed in by-standing rooms.
-The airpumps can repressure a canister in about 1-2 kpa a second
-The very cold air (-270k) is causing problems with the gas being too low pressure to flood an area. I've done a ghetto solution by using a hipower pump to just keep forcing air into the canister, which seems to be working?
-showers give -193*c temperature
- I've only managed to get -15/-40*c when using just a cold breathing tank and gas mask by itself, so portable cryo tanks are still being worked on.
-you can use analyzers on tanks to find out their temperatures. cool stuff i didnt know about
Problems:
-Pressure. either over pressure or under pressure, im having problems
-I dont know how this machine works per se, and so its been guesswork on solving the problems
-Vents require air alarm controls, and im not quite sure how to control air alarms, so air pumps are working as a getto pump
-Im pretty sure i can lose a freezer and air pump and it would work fine, but i dont know what im doing so...
_/(* .*)\_ ?
- I really do think i can make portable air tanks that can freeze a body past -103*c, but i think it needs colder temps then just 3 freezers, as well as higher pressures to force to cold air into a person. I really want to get this one to work... maybe 6 freezers, and some high pressure pumps to really jack up the kpa in a canister so they can be filled better.
