Timed Ban appeal - Yuri 'Zver' Mikhailov

Post by _Haifisch_ » 20 Jul 2016, 17:44

Your Byond ID: _Haifisch_

Character Name: Yuri 'Zver' Mikhailov

Type Of Ban (Job-ban, Timed Ban, Permaban): Timed Ban

Admin who banned you (if known): Warnipple

Total Ban Duration: 2.3 Days

Remaining Duration: It is placed at 12 A.M. so I assume that missing about 2 days yet.

What other servers do you play on? Apollo, Hispanistation and Hippie

Are you now or have you been banned on any of them? I'm banned from Hippie because i killed a guy with the Mjollnir, was perma, i don't regret it.

Reason for ban (If you have a Permaban, it should be the EXACT MESSAGE YOU GET WHEN YOU LOGIN with the Error code that looks like this: X##XXX##. If you do not provide this EXACTLY you can't be unbanned): Image

Link to previous appeals for the same ban (if applicable): N/A

Your appeal, including evidence (screenshots, etc):

I was sitting in one of the seats near the left exit from the Rasputin and i saw someone getting up, i didn't had the sound of my laptop turned on so i tought that the shuttle already launched and i wanted to press the switch and get out.

Then I hit the switch and this opened, having a missing door, which caused several players were carried out (including me), I left because I got angry and I felt a terrible shame for doing that, but if I'm honest I did not think that such a situation could have been the cause of so many problems, so I decided to leave the server and go to sleep.

Now, I feel very bad for having ruined the game for many players who were playing that night and I want to apologize for what happened. Also I want you to know that seriously sorry and I never wanted to do it on purpose, I have been a long time on the server and what I do not want is to lose the opportunity to continue playing there.

The worst thing you can do once you've done something like this is log off, because then by default we have to assume your a griefer. Had you stayed, and answered some simple questions we might have let you off with a warning.

Shutter doors automatically open so theres no reason to push the button. Pushing the button for wanting to exit the shuttle while the shuttle is full of marines is not a valid excuse for pushing it.

Since you said you were sitting on the bottom seat, I believe that you had something to do with the 3-4 marines that fell out of the shuttle while it was in flight.

You didn't mention that you fell from the shuttle as well. Care to explain how so many marines fell from the shuttle? You were sitting on the bottom seat so you must've seen them move through the doors while shutters were raised.

When i stepped up and pressed the shutters the pressure drag me out from the ship and everything went black, to be honest i just saw two people being dragged too and someone saying: WHO PRESSED THE SHUTTERS.

But, i assume that then more people got dragged out, so yes, it's my fault that they got dragged too.

Alright well the ban was supposed to be 1 day. I only made it 3 days because you left to avoid questioning but it seems to be a somewhat legitimate reason.

I'll be willing to +1 to have your ban lowered.

This ban will remain.
Because you logged off it made it a lot harder on us and definitely didn't seem like this was a simple "error".

Further more, you have 3 previous warnings within about a months time.

This ban will remain as you broke a blatant rule, essentially mass griefed and logged out after.
