Improvised turrets

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): so, this will add turrets that can be made outa random supplies lying around

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): makes survivor bases better and helps marines in the long run

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): so, add the option to create an "improvised turret stand" which will be made with metal, which requires cables. Then, any two handed machine gun, like the MAR or pulse rifle can be set atop it. Add a proximity sensor which come from robotics and weld. Option to add intelicards to the frame for improvised AI. It uses the regular clips to reload, and has the ammo capacity of the gun that's being used

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): spritting and coding

Not a totally bad idea, at least make it so just survivors could make them? i don't think marines would have the brain to create a improvised turret, anyway i know you want to make survivor only, but unfortunately marines will just crate a shitton of improvised turrets and RIP xeno scums, if you make MAR and PSSH turrets only, it will be +1, if you can use pulse rifles to create the turrets it will be -1 for me

+1 if you make them easily tipable (Ie walking into them tips them over or having a crusher stomp topple them over), fire indiscriminately at what ever triggers the prox sensor (marines, preds, xenos, punpun, etc)(which everyone has suggested already), Fires at things that move (so sitting still in front of one is safe tactic), not making them upgradeable since these things shouldn't be on equal grounds of a proper sentry (this is mostly aimed at your improvised ai/targeting computer suggestion), require a power cell for it to operate, provide chance of malfunction (either with time or/and with each shot fired) to counteract people planning on spamming these things, and require engineers to make them (this is targeted at the marines since I can imagine a firing lines of these things at an FOB.

but with the base idea I'm neutral but leaning to the -1 since these are just too good as they were initially suggested.

I mean make them weak and the fact they will hold 30 mags unless people order heavy rifles for them will be good. +1 to this or at the very least a reduction in the cost of normal turrets.

We're moving away from make everything from bubblegum and string type of building, so I don't think this is plausible. Not exactly lore friendly, either, as the sentry requires a special sensor and stuff. Denied.
