Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Properly show the ammo counters on the M39 SMG and the M41A Pulse Rifle. Whenever I reload with a fresh magazine, the counter shows as 34 or 29. Now I'm not as confused since I know about the "round in the chamber" mechanic, but I figured it'd confuse a baldie or a player new to the server.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Players won't be as confused when they insert a new magazine.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Aside from properly showing an ammo count, there is a minor lore-unfriendly addition/alternative: A small red light that lights up when there's a round chambered.
For example:
"...The M41A Mk2... Its ammo counter shows [29]... A small red light next to the counter is on."
"...The M39 SMG... Its ammo counter shows [35]... This is a 9mm Caseless Magazine... There are [34 out of 35 rounds] in the magazine."
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
I assume shuffling a few things in the ammo counter coding; as for my red-light idea, I also assume coding.

If you look around in the lore, magazines routinely have one bullet less than their max to keep the weapon from jamming. Never understood it but this could play in to that.

Also to my knowledge some guns, like the M16's used in Vietnam have a dummy round in the bottom of the magazine to keep the bolt held back. So while the mags were listed as having 20 rounds, in reality they had 19.

Also you can load a new magazine and it will be 35 and not 34, which means you can fire that extra bullet instead of 34...

Of course, this practice is only M41A mk1 specific on the wikia, I'd think it could also transfer over to the mk2.

One had 99 magazines (which is a lot) and the other has like 40, i would think they would improve thatDesolane900 wrote: http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/M41A_Pulse_Rifle

You chamber a bullet before you fire it. There is nothing to be confused about.
