Change The Fire Select For Mini-Flamer Attachment
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): The mini-flamer sucks, nobody uses it. One of the reasons why it sucks is because you have to keep pressing the button to fire new fireblasts, making it clunky to use in actual combat. If we change it to match the masterkey shotgun it'll be vastly improved. Still bad and borderline unusable, but at least it'll be a step in the right direction. Change it so that you toggle the flamethrower on, and you will continue to shoot flame until you switch back or run out of fuel in the attachment, the same way the underbarrel shotgun works.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): We'll make a bad attachment somewhat less bad, so when you're about to be eaten alive and it's the only attachment you could find laying on the ground you won't feel like you wasted your time slapping it on your rifle in the first place.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Gun is pewpew. Press button, gun is now froomfroom, stays this way until you press the button again, and it goes back to pewpew.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Move some crap around.

You're an idiot. But you clearly don't understand how the mini-flamer works, so I guess that kinda supports my point that it sucks and needs a buff if people haven't even used it enough to understand the problem.username123 wrote:-1, learn to use macros.

Load from attachment and Unique Action are two discrete actions. Load From Attachment is also going to bring up a box if you have any other weapon on you, regardless of whether that weapon even has an attachment to load from.username123 wrote: You must be very good using the shotgun kid :^)
If it's true that the under barrel shotgun has a binary toggle between firing/not firing as compared to the UGL reload mechanic, then it should not be particularly coding-intensive to effect this change, assuming admins approve it as a QOL fix.

That thread contains information you might find useful, specifically the responses. As for the suggestion, I'm not seeing a real reason to change it. I've thought about it before, but immolating a few allies because you forgot to turn it off is part of the reason it's locked to single fire. I might convert it into a projectile at some point, but until that happens denied.
