Should we add enforced Radio Chatter?

I have been very involved with the USA's military and my family has too. My Father was in the Navy, my sister wants to join the Navy as well, and my Brother is a Radio Operator for the Army. What that means is that he transmits and listens to the Platoon's Radio Chatter. It is VERY important because without communication, you can't do things. He is in charge of that, and is named the RO for Radio Operator. He receives a message and transmits it. Now, with the real Army, you have to maintain a strict guideline of what to say. Here's a quick and VERY brief guideline of slang, orders, and other info. Please be aware that this does not even pick the surface, this is just the basics of Radio Communication in the Army.

BREAK: INDICATION THAT THIS NEXT TEXT IS DIFFRENT FROM THE PREVIOUS TEXT. A SHORT 'OVER' WHEN YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO CLARIFY 'OVER'. e.g This is Bravo 4-5! We are hitting the Russian planes, I repeat, we are hitting the Russian Planes! /Break/! We need supplies! Over!
CORRECT: YOU ARE CORRECT, OR WHAT YOU TRANSMITTED IS CORRECT. e.g This is Bravo Actual! These hostiles are Salty, over! This is Bravo 2-5, Correct!
OUT: This transmission is over and DOES NOT NEED A RESPONSE. e.g This is Echo 3-8! The Russian Bears are clawing at me! It's been an honor, Major! Out!
OVER: This Transmission is over and NEEDS A RESPONSE. e.g This is Zulu Actual! We are getting hit hard! We are in need of ammo! Over!
COPY: I HAVE READ YOUR TRANSMISSION AND UNDERSTOOD IT. e.g This is Bravo 2-1! We need some supplies with ammo, over! This is Overlord, solid Copy.

BUM FUCK EGYPT (BFE): A DROP OR A MISSION IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. USED BEST IN COLONIAL MARINES.

So I just dropped a whole load of info on you. Now, my question is, should we implement this into CM? It would of course boost immersion a whole lot, but it would be very time consuming to type and remember all of this. You could always not use it for banter or shit, but most of the time you should use this. That's my idea, but how do you think? The reason I do not want to post this in suggestions is because I have no idea if anyone will like this and it's way to long to grade.

This isn't a very slow paced game. Once the xenos start pouncing, it is hard for marines to focus on keeping to the lingo. Hell, merely trying to remember all of this would be really hard. There is a reason why high RP servers are rarely populated, because some people just want to have a more casual RP experience, where they don't have to memorize a script of sorts just to play as a spess marine.

I love good RP as much as the next guy, but I can only do so much.

But I'd love to see some encouragement to get a little more into your role somewhat. Start small, go easy, let it sink into the community and then see where it goes from there.

With all due respect, this is a foolish idea to enforce and wasteful of time and resources. Hell, half the time we were on comms in AFG we spoke plainly WRT communication. Unless you want to start mandating medics call in 9-line medevacs that nobody else fucking understands, since the average player on this server wasn't even alive when 9/11 occurred, I suggest you take a big step back from mandating any official radio chatter. Hell, people already fuck up terms in-game as well, why add more fuel to the fire for people to totally abort communications with?

Rather then engage in fobbit masturbatory fantasies about how much military lingo we know, why dont we try and use the already slow communication interface (text-based rather then verbal) to communicate information in clear, direct, and succinct ways?

Example: which is easier for you to understand, and faster for me to type?

1: LT, this is Bravo-4, 9-line as follows:

Line 1 (we dont even have grid squares) Drop pod Break
Line 2 (we all use the same radio frequencies) One Four Five Dash Seven Break

As much as muh immersion is fun, honestly the only thing we need marines to be doing is announcing who they are, and announcing who they are speaking too.

Most people who play CM couldnt care less about whether or not their lingo is correct.

I wanna play CM to shoot stuff and relax. If you want high Mil-RP go to Bay, CM isn't for this stuff.
