Pilot Job Suggestions

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
With the newly added pilot job, I propose that he get some bonuses for always flying the Rasp.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
While the pilot job is still new, it is an attractive job but there should be some perks to choosing it.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
The pilot should get:
1x VP78 pistol
3x VP78 pistol mags (incendiary).
A box full of food, preferably MREs in the form of an emergency ration kit.
A medical first aid kit, emergency first aid kit.

I suggest more mags, xenos tend to like to play "Ding dong ditch" with the rasputin.

The shuttle pilot needs to be robust. Artificially robust would help too.

Honestly the pilot needs something to protect himself besides a service pistol because that isn't going stop any xeno unless it has attachments.

Pilot should also have a flare pouch or two with their supplies.

Perhaps, like how the CO spawns with AP pistol rounds for the service pistol, perhaps the pilot does as well? The pilot should have shoulder holster spawn on character, adds a bit of realism or perhaps have a emergency kit under the chair that has combat stuff incase.

Now that pilots are basically a requirement to operate the shuttle, they are definitely going to need some buffs to help out with their robustness since they are going to be vulnerable and incredibly valuable. A holster and a non-standard service pistol would be a start. The VP70 appears to be standard issue for pilots according to the wiki, so this would be an excellent sidearm for a pilot in need of firepower on our shuttle (Bonus points if someone adds a +5 accuracy rabbit foot mod for pistols).

Their kevlar vests should have a storage compartment, otherwise I could see a lot of FO's just ditching their default armour for marine armour instead.

With aliens playing ding-dong-ditch as often as they do on the shuttle, it'd be nice if the shuttle doors didn't just let everyone walk through them without any kind of safety feature. Either make aliens have to bust down a window/pry the doors open, or give the PO the ability to bolt the left and right facing doors separately to reduce the chances of breaking and entering.

Also, I reckon you all love dis, perhaps have the pilot have a mp7 or it be the standard weapon. Adds a bit of realism, having a submachine gun as a backup weapon or firepower in which can help suppress or ward of attackers. Having the pilot spawn with it I think would make being pilot worth it or perhaps have it in their locker with two extra mags or one.

Pilot should have a self destruct mechanism that has 4 tile range and can put T1 on crit or even kill them.
And a 360 sentry set in the cockpit.
