Make Pistols (M4A3) Great Again

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Quite awhile back there was a nerf to the 9mm M4A3 that completely ruined its ROF, and makes it close to useless. It's a 9mm pistol, that for some reason has the ROF of a .50 cal pistol. I really loved the 9mm M4A3 due to its okay clip size, and awesome ROF compared to the m44. Now the M44 seems the better choice when it comes to sidearms. Sidearms used to be personal preference, now its a blatant choice to choose the .44 over the ol' 9mm.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Makes the pistol great again, no more shitty ROF that is unreal as hell. Also balances out the choice of a .44 over a 9mm.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Just return the ROF of the old M4A3 before the ROF nerf.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): This is obvious? its already in marine vendors.

I know that the .45 M4A3 is a thing, but it still doesn't explain why the ROF got nerfed to hell on the 9mm version. Edgy on thoughts? Discuss.

I mean changing the ROF for it won't really do much for it considering marine odds.

The roe was changed when it was discovered it shot faster than an SMG on single fire. The pistol is in general a pretty poor sidearm, outside of facing lightly armored targets anyway.

-1/+0 Personally, i think the 9mm is just a fallback weapon. You can fit it anywhere and thats its benefits. Its not really meant to be a full blown combat weapon, just something to shoot when you cant get to your main gun. It would be nice if it was a little better, but then again, its just meant for egress from a bad situation.

If you'd dual wield like a boss, the ROF is a little better.

Worked a bit with it, despite having shitty accuracy, the pistol hit preety often even at average and long distances, making it able to kill a unarmored human preety quickly, problem is that it still fires slow and the targets tend to move alot

What I'm talking about is how the 44. and the 9mm sidearm stack up to be, the 44. is massively better but even its ROF seems even better than the standard 9mm. I think a buff to increase the ROF so its not similar to that of a Desert Eagle, or a revolver would make the 9mm "Truly Great Again".

You're right, they should really have the same fire rate at least. I'll change that. Resolved.

Edit: though really, it shoots faster than both of those guns. But a tiny increase wouldn't hurt.
