I'm going to use this topic and others like it, to try and give us a bit more "drive and focus" so we can narrow down what features to work on. If you want a feature or something added to the roadmap, reply in the topic and we'll add it.

My hope, is that we'll be able to sort of limit the amount of gameplay changes and features that get cancelled/reverted because they get discussed when the whole team isn't there. I'll try to keep Bugs, Suggestions, and Projects in here seperated. If I forget to update this, just fucking yell at me over Slack until I do.




Game-breaking/Really Big Bugs:
We'll need someone to go through and make a "bug-list". At least, for now until we incorporate the new bug system we are discussing. Focus on the bugs that really affect gameplay.


Priority Suggestions:
  • Medbot safety checks http://cm-ss13.com/viewtopic.php?f=130&t=7859
  • Overwatch Scan http://cm-ss13.com/viewtopic.php?f=130&t=3198 (Give it a 10 minute cooldown, and active at 1-hour) - Assigned to Rahlzel
  • Color-Coded Autoinjectors http://cm-ss13.com/viewtopic.php?f=130&t=4731 (More on the spriters for this, if you can give me some color-coded injectors I can adjust them)
  • Screams - On death/extreme pain.
  • Queen slight defensive buff - Acid spray/spit like the Boiler but wide instead of long (to block pursuers). Slight speed buff for a fully upgraded Empress.
  • Remove flashlights from Marine vendors but keep them in Engi vendors
  • Fix weapon flashlight attachment so that it can be turned on at any time and it does not interfere with an underslung attachment (the verb to switch should be instant - it should NEVER have a pop-up window)

My next project after ironing out some final gun things is to go through aliens and optimize them, along with reworking weeds/alien walls/and so on. As well as general optimizations. I believe Snipedragon said he would pick up dog tags, but I will work on that if he does not. Longer term after that: reworking mobs, reworking melee combat, reworking the lighting system and vision. I also want to work on the motion detector somewhere in there.

Over the next few days, I'll be re-reworking the APCs (already have good progress) and finishing up the MRE sprites. I'd like to bring back the idea of a hydration system where the more hydrated you are, the faster you heal and the faster you recover blood.

I'm currently working on the re-balance for Ice Colony after which I'll move on to new maps. I'll take any and all suggestions for new map ideas/locations.

I'm going to be making some walls for Big Red. In addition, I could probably make some new autoinjectors.

Okay here's the important ones from page 1. They range in severity from "that should definitely be changed soon™" to "oh fuck that's not good lemme change that this week." Nothing urgently game breaking, just some exploitability.
