Broken Donor Helmets

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Turn custom donor helmets into normal scratched up helmets when destroyed, so that people can differentiate between a good helmet and a bad one.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
As of now, a player can pick up a donor helmet, thinking it's in good condition, but be severely mistaken when he discovers that it's not actually in mint condition.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Because I understand that going back and re-spiriting a "broken" spirit for every single donor helmet would be a daunting task, I recommend that instead it just be replaced by the default "broken" helmet.

If you're a donor, you should know if your helmet's broken or not. If you're not, you shouldn't be wearing someone's paid gear anyway.

That's how I feel about it. If you examine the helmet, it will also say if it's broken or not.

That's odd, I remember broken donor helmet sprites were showing before, or is it just me.

The broken overlay doesn't go with many of the donor helmets, like bandanas and the like, so it's a cosmetic thing. You can see if it's broken by examining it, but otherwise it will look just as cool as when you first got it. Denied.
