Childhood
When the days were the most toughest on Dubi he recalls it back on a urban run down city, corrupted by men and women alike all of them looking to steal someones secrets to just trade them for scraps that can kneel someone over real quick such is a price to pay to just eat. It wasn't exactly the life Dubi was going to keep forcing himself to live. He grabbed all of his shit and ran away from home to find another.

Teenage years
Around this time ray has grown up around the roughest people he knew at the time. All of em cussing,slurring racial shit he thought it was more of a eye opener to the whole world he was getting into.Even one of his close mates by the name of Shun Dubi took him in trained Ray to be what he is today.

Adult hood
It was by this time Ray has learned how most guns worked even took well on keeping them cleaned often. But nothing caught his eye quite like the ye old Sniper Shun had on display infront of his lively room. Ray begged him alot for him to let him use it he kept laughing and told him no, not until Shun's past caught up with him while the two was eating dinner. It was the day Ray planned on telling Shun he was going to join the marines sadly before he could do that loud bangs and bullet holes was filling up the whole house. Ray was ducking down dragging Shun outta there. In the damp swamps of the backhouse Ray was trying to keep Shuns attention but he knew he wasn't lasting long.But before Shun bit the dust he told Ray to go and get a better life out of what Shun and Ray has been doing for years. Ray remembers everything, like it was a tragedy he felt immense amount of anger but he knew he had to go before Shun's killer found Ray too. And with that Ray fled far far away from home once again.

Now dubi is onboard the sulaco waiting for the drop to come, aboard pod was also his squad lead. He walked up to Dubi, "You alright there?" the squad lead said to Ray. "Always been lead whatcha need now?" " need ya to stay focused thats what standard." The squad lead does a small chuckle before he latches onto his seat."heh, always a charmer Xur you outta be makin every women you look at drop" Ray says jokingly. "Alright alright fun times over boys when we touch the ground we get prepared to get power up to see whats up, you all get me!?" Xur shouts, "YES SIR!!" Everyone shouts. Ray takes one last look around the pod at everyone in there, then at his sniper. Ray slumps back into his chair as the drop pod launches towards LV-624.
