Marine Name (so we know who you are, if you play alien mostly, state that here): Easter Kelly
Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name): Kjuhte Bhu'ja
Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor? I am very familiar with it, having checked and read through it enough to get into a few debates in dead chat about how they can be interpreted.
Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predators background): Born as a twin to a much more physically impressive and intimidating Yautja brother, Kjuhte spent a great deal of time in his shadow. It didn't matter how they competed. His brother would always come out on top and thus their clan would berate Kjuhte and try to shape him into the ideal hunter that was his brother. The only exception to this was stealth. Even among Yautja stealth standards, Kjuhte stood out. He had used his time spent in the shadow of his stronger brother to develop a way of hiding his presence, so much so that even other Yautja would have a hard time noticing he was there even while uncloaked. Upon realising his talent, Kjuhte immediately put this to work, using his superior stealth skills to scout, chase and ambush his prey, making up for in surprise what he lacked in strength. Though these talents really should only belong to those who take on the role of assassination, not hunting in pursuit of honour, Kjuhte has made it work for him. He is now regarded in his clan as a silent killer, capable of quite literally dispatching of prey without them ever even knowing what was hunting them until it was already too late.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)?
The Jungle Hunter from the first Predator movie is a heavy inspiration on me. Now before you jump to conclusions I mean its way of staying unbelievably stealthy until its final fight with Dutch and, arguably, Billy. I am NOT inspired by its murderboning or its outright dishonourable fighting tactics. I would find it a major dishonour if I was the first one to reveal the existence of all Yautja to any humans and thus I would remain like a ghost, staying cloaked at all times unless I had decided on my prey. What's the point in not revealing myself to someone who's about to die? I would also become less cloak-heavy after any of the other Predators (if applicable) playing had already revealed themselves. Otherwise I would stick to the usual Predator way of messing with marines and occasionally finding the strongest marine to hunt, be it in an honour duel (where it would have the advantage) or raw and bloody in the field. Xenomorphs are another matter. First off it's generally assumed that Xenomorphs already know of Predators and thus it's useless to try and conceal my existence from them. Furthermore, the Xenomorphs operate on a hivemind so any attempt at stealth is fruitless in the end.
How/Who I would hunt is pretty simple. I would likely begin a round, or whenever I join, with some extreme scouting to get the feel of how numerous and how skilled both sides are, this would weigh heavily on my choice of who to hunt. Due to the nature of my Predator I would generally wait for a marine to isolate themselves before making a move on them and only when I am sure that the marine is either worth hunting or as a slave would I engage. For Xenomorphs I would take a similar approach but I would also be a little more lax considering Xenomorphs generally have less of a fighting chance versus Predators outside of honour duels. As a side note if a marine dueled me in honourable combat, and showed an unusual level in skill in doing, so there is a possibility that I might take them as a student, teaching them the ways of a true hunter. This would normally depend on the player and the RP up until that moment.
Why should we whitelist you?
Without sounding like a conceited asshole, I have an extremely strong sense of honour. I've met and dealt with multiple Predators in-game that tell me the things I do are uncommon for a marine. These are simple things such as letting a predator get up before hitting them in an honour fight. Therefore, I am very unlikely to do anything that would count as dishonourable, because even if it were to happen by mistake I would have already deemed it in my head as dishonourable. I am also fully aware of the general animosity surrounding Predators on CM. Thus if I find myself in a position where the stars align (Predator brothers have revealed themselves, Xenos and Marines seem evenly matched, I'm not being hunted with a SADAR), then I'd like to try and create as much RP as possible for the marines (For some reason it seems a LOT harder to incite RP with the Xenomorphs as opposed to marines) that still fits within the confines of my character.
I am also aware that my forum activity is seriously lacking. The only thing I have to say on this matter is that I simply am not used to enjoying a game outside of the game itself. In fact I've been playing this game for -a lot- longer than a month, but it was normally a fleeting round or two before bed. I have also been actually playing this without a random name/body for longer than a month. I've just only recently decided to try and join the forums for the reason stated above. I do intend to increase my forum activity over my time spent playing this game.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
Yes. A 24 hour ban. I cannot remember the date, though you guys can probably find that out. It was for suiciding around round start because it was late at night, requisitions was being -shit- and I wanted to be more dramatic than simply getting into a cryo pod. Though I fully understand none of that justifies what I did.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
Nope, the only server I've ever been banned from (As far as I recall) is CM.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
I do, and I actually prefer it that way.
Considering I kept my Predator background brief, I took it upon myself to write a (very, relative to some of the other apps) short story on my Predator's first Xenomorph hunt.
