Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Players join/spawn as larva while still inside the host, they get a limited view around host (half the regular view) to account for senses. Once ready to pop they have a window of 2-5 minutes to manually burst before automatically bursting.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):It sucks to look away from your screen for a moment and to spawn from a random host while in a tricky spot, this would give larva a chance to plan their escape and cut down on AFK larva kills.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Summed it up above, but for extra flavor you could require larva to chew their way out with a few clicks on cooldowns (three clicks on 5 second cooldowns for example), this would trigger the uncontrollable shaking, giving nearby marines a chance to react. Could also replace the view around host with only being able to see other marines/xenos, aka heat vision. After the second chew the host would start dying from internal bleeding/go critical, and on the third chew you'd burst. If the host died before you were finished gestating, you'd die, otherwise you'd burst on host death.

Well technically then wouldn't the larva be removed in that 2-5 minute window or if its opened up does it just pop out?

If you were fully grown inside the host, would make sense that an attempt to remove larva would just have it pop out (and then be promptly stabbed by the doc I guess). I mean if you're lettin a doc cut you out you're probably afk, so could also kill ya i spose.

+1, so long as it gets a delay of a few seconds between the moment you try to burst and actually bursting. Giving off a message to the marine/nearby marines too, not to make it too overpowered.
But yeah it's annoying to be alt tabbed or something only to hear yourself burst and be dead by the time you can even click back.

+1 So many times when you burst out in a walled off dropship and can do nothing to protect or hide yourself.

+1 I can only imagine the amount of drinks and food spilled by ghosted players who suddenly get put into a larva surrounded by 5 marines on the Sulaco

Implemented, with a 20 second time before autobursting.
