Attachments Anonymous

Post by Jakers457 » 31 Oct 2016, 07:41

Basically due the heightened dependence on attachments and the rampant, raging, bald riots that are caused by the dependency; I have decided to set up a safe space for those who wish to talk about their problem.

So to start off. When did you start using attachments? What was your gateway attachment? Did your Mother ever show you maternal affection? How do you feel after using the attachment? What did you feel when you saw your dead best friend after an attachment fueled friendly fire incident?

It all started way back at the early ages of Alpha.

Abby gave us attachments that wound "help" us.
It did, got everyone crazed about it and I'm just standing in the line getting my bayonet and flashlight.

It was peaceful at first until they introduced more shit.
Specifically the magnetic harness.

Still was calm. Until the first riot broke out.
It started to go down hill from there but eventually leveled out.

That's how the trap is set up.
The attachments help you. They really do.
At first.
And then you forget how to live without them.
It's no longer "how do I overcome this problem... maybe I should get an attachment."
It's "how do I get an attachment so I can overcome anything at all."

We should ban attachments and have a special military police task force with enforcing the prohibition of attachments.

Give Cargo Thompson sub-machine guns with drum mags too.

I like attachments as much as the next guy, but unless it is something like a mag harness or a quickfire, most attachments don't feel like they have much of an impact on performance.

And even then, unless you are slapping something that is a pure upgrade onto your gun (like a red dot), is it really worth putting on attachments that could weaken your gun or make it harder to get direct hits with?

Honestly, I'd rather a default, balanced Pulse Rifle over one that had its stats messed with. Finding the right combo of attachments is a bother.

How can this be MY rifle if there are others like it?
Garth Pawolski, or is it Powalski?
