Soo, combat medic, I've decided to share out Katya Harris's setup for people who want to get as many kills as possible with addition of helping other marines. The best weapon of choice is the M41A with a harness, grip or not is your choice, but I prefer to have a forward grip.
Firstly, gear yourself up, webbing, etcetera. Then, for your backpack, have two advanced aid kits and four empty first aid kits, and to fill that last space of your backpack, a defibrilator. One first aid kit will be dedicated for stasis bags, extra dylovene/innaprovaline/kelotane or any auto-injectors, the second will be dedicated for fixing BONES, one stash of splints, five tramadols and an extra bicaridine auto-injector is perfect. For your pockets, carry a single health analyzer and a mag, for your armour, two mags, webbing, three mags. Now, what to do with the other two first aid kits? Simple, stash more magazines inside them(if you're using a shotgun, you can just carry the boxes instead). Get a hand labeller, label your first aid kits so you won't mess up.
Now, for your combat lifesaver belt, empty out your useless ointments, patches, as well as kelotane, dylovene, oxycodone(this shit is really useless tbh) autoinjectors and Red Russian pill bottle. Fill yourself AT LEAST three quick clots, anything else can be a trauma kit, burn kit or other pill bottles (dermaline, peridaxon +, bicaridine).
BONUS: The broken bones kit is meant for assaults, when a player's limb is broken, quickly splint, treat and give them a tramadol pill bottle to continue fighting without them dropping whatever they hold or taking any other unecessary damage to quickly die, tell them to pop two pills every time they feel bad (not 100% healthy). (this is why I also take AP mags without fear of FF'ing someone and taking them off the round, this shit will save your ass)

Re: Healing is not rewarding as hurting.
Personally as a Medic I take 5 kits, 2 Standard ADV kits, 2 Firstaid, One full of burn kits one full of Brute kits, and a blue kit from a locker full of syringe cases loaded with autoinjectors to restock my belt. You can then use one of the slots for a defib and the last for whatever strikes you as important that round. (Typically I load it with extra pill bottles in another blue kit)
I tend not to take a gun, And put stasis bags in my webbing and Oxycodone in my armor (So I can fix myself if I get fucked)
Typically in my pocket I have my health scanner (Not optional tbh) and a glass of DD/Tricord mix to forcefeed small amount of damage away.
Strategy in combat is to forcefeed the glass to get them healing, scan and check for stuff that needs splinted while applying the kit (if they will hold still...) and prick em with anything they need then. I usually stick to the frontline so I tend to run out of all those copious supplies i mentioned earlier not even two hours into the round.

grab an smg with supp mag harness bayonet and wait for a runner/hunter/sentinel/etc to show up and pretend to be busy with something, as soon as they try to attack macro the gun to your hand and bayonet them, and chase them down with suppresed gunfire while they try to recover for easy kills
The Acolyte of Salt, Jack "pent" Sugar, if I kill you with a pulse rifle it's an accident, if I kill you with quick clot It's on purpose

Re: Healing is not rewarding as hurting.
My setup's pretty simple. 1 defib, 2 cryobags, 2 Adv medkits, 1 simple medkit (Filled with tricord and 2 quickclot injectors).
Health analyzer in my pocket, pill bottle of perixadone in the other. Ditch my bandages, ointment and red russian in favor of all of the other pill bottles in my lifesafer belt.
M4 on my armor, 5 ammo mags in my webbing/armor. Also, 1-2 tricord filled flasks on my helmet.
Usually end up with 5-6 kills when not healing.

Re: Healing is not rewarding as hurting.
Leonels setup:
1x m39 with flashlight and extended barrel, ap ammo pref.
riot shield if possible
or 1x m4a1 with gyro & rds
*your pref here*
Having a 1 handed weapon is very important, since you can drag someone, treat them as you are dragging them, and still have a weapon immediately to hand if hostile arrive
1x defib, 2 x advanced kits, 2x stasis bag, 1x oxy dep, 1x fire extinguisher, 1 x pistol in backpack
1x analyser 1x hypospray in pocket
lifesaver: ditch everything except the quickclot, dex+ and oxycodone injectors, grab 2x kelotane bottle, 1 x every other pill bottle, 2x inprovaline 2x dylovene bottle, 1x syringe, 3x syringe case filled with 6 quick clot and 3 dex +, ditch russian red, and grab peri or bicard pills if possible. 2x trauma kit, 2 x splints
webbing: ammo x3
armour: another hypospray filled with either kelotane or some custom mix
With this setup you can go for hours without refill
mag harness is a waste imo, if you drop your gun there is likely to be a billion guns lying around that are similar, flashlight lets you see further and see wounded easier. 'getting kills' as a priority sounds pretty dumb to me.

Re: Healing is not rewarding as hurting.
Meh, might as well share mine.
Satchel: 3 adv. first aid kits (replace the tricordrazine autoinjectors with quickclot), oxygen kit, m4a3 pistol, defib, and health analyzer
Pockets: tramadol bottle, hypospray
Webbing: 2 AP magazines, one beaker of tricordrazine for hypospray refill
Armor: pistol magazine, stasis bag. Replace magazine with coif if on Ice Colony.
Lifesaver bag: Syringe case of quickclot, dylovene and inaprovaline bottle, and one of each pill bottle.
Weapon: Pulse rifle with rail light and ext. barrel. It lets me support my squad by providing extra vision and accuracy from the barrel is great. More importantly, it lets me keep my UGL. I find harness to be useful but if you really need it, you're likely going to die anyway. Pistol is for softening up t1s that chase me so I can stab them easier with a boot knife during nest happy fun time.
My reasoning on never getting a gyro is because I tend to drag away people while they're still standing so I'll end up shooting them instead of the enemy. Either I'm healing everyone or I'm fighting to defend my patients because no one else can and I'm not going to give up my UGL for an easier time.

Re: Healing is not rewarding as hurting.
Ive had a round where I had 3 attachments and then my UGL popped up and I had four attachments anyway, so I don't think you have to worry about the UGL.

Re: Healing is not rewarding as hurting.
here's a protip, fill up your entire inventory with meds, webbing, pockets, armour slots, the whole shebang, then leave one spot clear in your backpack for a first aid kit, dump out said first aid kit and load it up with the desired ammunition.
:^)

Re: Healing is not rewarding as hurting.
Seeing I almost practically "MAIN" Medic, I might as well share mine.
John Snafu's (AKA New James Hudson's) Medical loadout:
Head: Medical Helmet with 3 EAT Bars
Face: Gas Mask
Eyes: Medical HUD
Hands: Latex Gloves
Webbing: 3 AP Magazines
M3 Armor Slots: Tricord Spray, Bicaridine Spray (Sometimes I take Bicard pills instead, too lazy to empty hypo & then bicard it full)
Back: M41A with Extended Barrel & Magnetic Harness.
Left Pocket: Health Analyzer
Right Pocket: Syringe
Life-Saver Belt: 5 Trauma Kits, 2 Burn kits, 8 Quick clots, 1 Dex+ Auto injector, Kelotane Pill bottle, Tramadol Pill bottle, Syringe Case (Holding Dylovene, Inapprovaline, & Spaceacellin) and lastly, Kelotane Bottle or Dexalin Bottle.
USCM Medical Satchel: 1 Medical First Aid, 1 Adv. Medical Trauma Kit, 1 Stasis Bag, 1 Defibrillator, Medical Splints, Pill bottle full of Peri, and Oxycodone (I don't care what y'all say, when you get fucked up and need to quickly patch yourself up. Oxy has saved me MANY times)
Medical First Aid Kit: Syringe Case (With 1 Quick clot, 1 Dex+, and 1 spare Syringe (broke my Syringe MANY TIMES harm intenting a Marine *facepalm*) 3 AP Magazines, 2 spare Tramadol Pills and 1 spare Kelotane (For when the Burn, wounded flood starts rolling in)
Advanced First Aid Kit: 3 Trauma Kits, 2 Burn Kits, Splints, and Quick clot (Basically default just swap the Tricord for quick clot)
This loadout has worked many times for me. It's always been my Go-to when I play as Combat Medic, and always will be. I may switch it up a little bit, but this right here is my default always. Works fine patching up all the major wounds, and bringing the dead back and stabilizing them. I go overboard with the Quick clot cause Internal is always the #1 wound I always find myself having to patch up. I'd recommend y'all try it out. Let me know how it works for y'all
