Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results): 17:55 GMT+1 To 18:05 GMT+1 And before 17:55 as well, I just know that is when we noticed them/they threw flares across/started shooting at us.

What rule(s) were broken: Meta-gaming

Description of the incident: Marines landed, meta-gamed the tunnel and killed a tier 3 but no matter About that, a few minutes after they threw flares across the river, and crossed to tablefort. Then killed 2 aliens that the mod at the time could not revive.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): I have no idea how to access the logs, and the logs for my player will see me getting shot at quite a bit. Ask the current moderator who was swamped at the time YungCuz2 to confirm it happened if you wanted too. Be aware this is nowhere near all of the marines

How you would punish the accused: If they have no notes/little about this certain subject. Notes about it and a warning not to do it again. If they already HAVE notes about meta-gaming a ban of appropriate lengths of how much. If there second case, 24 hour, third a week, or up to you.

I have no idea if I'm supposed to post. But if it's the round I believe it to be. A survivor told the Marines where you guys were, this was followed by the CO giving the orders to advance. So, they went by intel and orders if that clears anything up.

Well, still not allowed. Meta-gaming no doubt here. It was MINUTES after they landed. No doubt or anything to a Civilian who just witnessed all their friends and everyone they know die. Just 'Oh yea aliens attacked and they are in the north caves' and the marines 'Oh ok TRUST THIS CIVILIAN and dedicate half their force to a charge across the river'

They didn't attack immediately. Like, as far as I know, people started moving as soon as the CO ordered them to. A few of us hung back, because you know, fuck command. So, if anything the CO should be the one looked into.

I think so? I can't remember seeing them. I mean, this is just my perspective so they could've wondered over the river prior to the CO's orders. But he definitely ordered an advance somewhat early.
