The December 20th. Date of the winter.

Bmc is pretty much the sole mapper working on Ice Colony. He worked on it tirelessly last month but couldn't finish it before he got slammed with coursework from his uni classes. This week, he is able to take some time off to work on it. He does not know when it will be finished, but he will work on it quite a bit this week. He's told me he's going to try and take an hour or two out of every day this week to work on it.

Like I said, we are not sure when it will be done, but it will be Soon(TM)

Ice map isn't really "broken" everyone agrees that the map isn't being used correctly (not playing out as planned), marines don't want to go underground, aliens don't want to go upstairs, etc. Its clunky and there are some parts of the map that don't serve much of a purpose. I overheard that the map is undergoing a small revamp but personally, and as most people agreed, the gameplay isn't as enjoyable and fluid as in Lazarus.

BMC is working on it. Last I heard, he ground-zeroed most of it and was almost done with bringing it up to scratch.

Does that mean he is doing the polishing and minor tweaks now that most of the big stuff is done?

We do not have an ETA on Ice Colony. We hope to be able to launch it in December, but like Monkey said, Bmc nuked the entire map.
We will push out Ice Colony as soon as we possibly can.
