Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Add an option in character setup that allows the character to speak in one of 'x' amount of generic english accents. Example:

* Generic: Default, no changes in the chat messages.

* Chav: "You wot m8"

* New Jersey: "Ha Ha. What A Good Joke, Mark"

* Swedish: "Git tu de shuttle BORK BORK BORK!"

* Russian: "He no man, he piece of iron"

* Scottish: "Did ye, aye?"

* Asian: "You rack disciprine"

* Pirate (?): "Yarr harr fiddlee dee dee, being a baldman is alright with mi!"

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Roleplay and more ways to be unique among your marine friends.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Who wouldn't want to have an unique character?

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding i guess?.

Honestly, it would be kinda nice to have a flavor text modifier for your avatar, allowing you to get a tad more creative without having to go through the extra effort of typing out the accent.

Of course, the accents i mentioned were examples of what i'm suggesting, in the end, the devs will be the ones to create and pick which accents they want in the game.

Brazilian would be kind of hard. would be something like: "Filho da puta, fódase you damn xeno's" *shrug*

Eh, the original suggestion is pretty goon-ish. And you can already do an accent manually, and some people do. Changing certain phrases into other military-related phrases could also work, but would be tricky to do well.

There's no "ó" on "foda-se", it will make the "o" an open vowel and will sound someone from northeast brazil which has a totally accent from the rest of brazil.

UNITED STATES Colonial Marines. If we did do this (not likely) we'd probably have Northern, East Coast, New York, Boston, Chicago, West Coast, Midwest, Southern, and Deep Southern.

But what if a marine born in Cuba by Example, and moved to the USA as a kid/teenager? he could STILL talk with that spanglish accent.
