Christening the new Ship map...

So, we are working on the new ship, and it'll be out "soonish". But a discussion came up, on changing the name of the ship.

What do you guys think?
Should we stick with the Sulaco?
Should we follow the Aliens naming conventions?
Name suggestions?

As of right now.. we're thinking of naming it the USS Feweh to honor Feweh's contributions to CM.

Hm... Honestly, it would be nice to have a new name for the ship, to match the fact that it is indeed a NEW ship.

At the very least, you could call it the Sulaco MKII for those who grown too attached to "Sully"

It's not the actual Sulaco, though. It's never been the actual Sulaco, no more than we are the actual marines in the movie.

I say we pick a new name.

Either something Americana or something that sounds nice and Aliens esque like the Sulaco, Nostromo, or Sephora.

If its still a FTL class ship with a cyro area all that stuff then i think it should retain its name, as the Saluco is the only ship with a cyro sleep system due to the FTL drive. (in our lore | In actual lore to date there is like 36 of them)

The name proposed in dev is USS Almayer, after Almayer's Folly. It's a naming convention in the Aliens-verse to name ships after works/things from Joseph Conrad, so it seems to fit really well. I also like Manoo's suggestions.
