An MMO?
Some people have asked about the CM community playing an MMO together, especially with some bigger MMOs becoming F2P recently.
So, that's what this discussion is for.
Here's a few to start off with:
Eve Online (I'd love to do this with CM people)
Star Trek Online (Some CM players already play this)
DC Universe Online (I'm in a semi-established league on both hero and villian sides)

We could do OSRS or RS3, or set up Wey-Yu company on EVE Online.

Re: An MMO?
Well, if we do hopefully it's not something that's too largely based on leveling. Same reason I never got into borderlands, me and a friend would start as level 1 then next time we played it turned out he spent a couple days grinding and was 20 levels ahead of me. So I spent our next game just following him around as he killed everything trying not to get one shotted.

Re: An MMO?
Eve sounds great, but I've had a lot of fun with a game called Wurm Unlimited (not an MMO but server based), and a game called Wurm Online (mmo version of the previous) It is really grindy, but it's not grindy in the sense that you're just doing shit for skills. It's grinding to do stuff like building a house (took me 9 or 10 hours?), you need iron for nails, trees to cut into logs, logs to cut into planks et cetera. Very fun to build castles/ player made kingdoms as a group :D.

I wouldn't be opposed to dusting off EVE again.

EVE sounds like fun, I'm in a decent starter corp you guys can all join.

Re: An MMO?
We still thinking eve?
As far as a corp, I'd rather not go into a "starter" if i can avoid it, as my character is almost 10 years old (only played for maybe 3-4 of them though) and I've got BOATLOADS of Exp and skills. Though, a bit short of Cash after the last war.

Re: An MMO?
an MMO would be great but people would need to know a few days or so before the corp/clan/guild is made so they can get on,learn the game a bit and level so its a bit more fun.perhaps even do raids on gamenights if we get pick one of those games.
as for my suggestion,SWTOR would be decent if I could get it to work,we'd need to decide a side to play however and we'd need to get off the starter planet (takes....around about an hour or so on your own if you do no side missions) and it'd be pretty cool to see a guild of jed/sith in a PVP zone or something.not that the other classes wouldn't have any love that is.

I play as this guy, proudly being dismembered by extraterrestrials since 2015.
Sometimes I might play other guys, you never know.

Re: An MMO?
Archeage got a bit update, could be good. I'd be up for Eve, or, as Joe suggested, SWTOR.
Guild Wars 2 is definitely a contender.
