However, if the gear is sent up to the Almayer, it is allowed and encouraged to proceed with an infiltration onto the marine ship and retrieve the gear with the least amount of commotion caused - as reasonable as that requirement is given the circumstances.
2. As for my Yautja, if the fallen Hunter is still alive, they are not to be touched. It would be disrespectful to save their life if they have failed a hunt and allowed themselves to be critted, both to themselves and to their prey. I would quietly observe from the distance (cloaked) what the actions of the marines are: if they are to execute the Yautja - then the standard procedure would follow to retrieve the corpse from marine hands and engage the fallen hunter's bracer self-destruct mechanism. However, if the marines attempt to kidnap the Yautja alive, this would be an extremely grave situation and I would rush in to save the Yautja - and face the consequences of such actions later, be that verbal assault or worse, a Honor Duel.
Addenum: If the Yautja is executed and/or perishes, and their prey is alive after the fact, I would look for some way to still recognize the prey for this accomplishment granted they managed to do it by themselves.
3. Most commonly, Squad Smartgunner and Squad Specialist. Note, these are not strictly 'never hunt', but one cannot specifically go out of their way to hunt them, a situation that allows this would be the Demolitions Specialist running around with a High-Explosive warhead aiming to gib a Yautja. And even then, perma'ing should only happen if the round is 1h+ long and their deletion from the game doesn't cause any major harm to the marine side. I also personally extend this to leadership roles like Squad Leader given that them being perma'd tends to affect squad performance significantly depending on their level of competency.
4. I would firstly make sure to witness these acts myself, and if the tales are true, then I would look for some way to enrich this player's experience for those victories. Given the fallen Yautja's body has been taken care of, I would look for some way to hand a trophy worthy of this prey like the hide of a Serpent they themselves slain, or a melee weapon of our repertoire that isn't ancillary Yautja gear. If the marine is receptive to me in a HRP way (no LRPspeak, 'thank you jamaican lets smoke together next time') I might even consider thralling them if the round isn't too close to ending and there is significant serpent presence still around.
