I prefer the status quo simply because I don't believe we need a definitive 'victory state'.
The generic round end message serves us well.

Yeeeeah boi, i would LOVE to see those messages back... There was no real need to remove them, in my opinion.
GOD HAD A HARD ON FOR MARINES
I'm ok with this as long as it doesn't display a big MARINE MAJOR VICTORY but instead a small, atmospheric blurb, something akin to "The marines have wiped out the xenomorph hive on the surface" (but ten times better).
Please make a Gitlab suggestion on it so I don't forget it, I'm swamped now. I'll assign myself to it.

VIC - Xenomorph
Posted the Gitlab sugg, since Vicacrov's suggestion seems a much nicer idea.

The complexity of this system can range from complex per map to a simple statement. My suggestion would be.
Marine Victory: "The Marines of the USCM Falling Falcons successfully exterminated the Xenomorph threat on [Planet/Station Name], and have secured the [Planet/Station] and halted the Xenomorph advance in this sector, for now.
Xenomorph Victory: "The Xenomorph hive successfully annihilated the USCM Battalion and have secured the [Planet/Station] as a vibrant Hive. The Falling Falcons join the long list of 'missing' battalions on the frontier, and the USCM abandon the sector.

I would like a harder emphasis on objectives to effect the win types.
Why does it matter
