it keeps good marines from steamrolling xenos
the real problem is the fact that a spitter can one hit pain stun, two hit deep crit you with acid and goes at elder runner speeds at Elder Spitter +
nah dont remove acid blood, remove pain damage. Shit is stupid when everything already kills or maims you in 3 hits.
If there was no acid splash marines would win all melee battles with massed bayonet charges.
Like anyone attaches bayonets on their guns those days.
Acid splash does literally 40-110 damage to shotguns
If you PB high armour stuff like crusher, you literally take more damage than you deal lmao
Acid splash definitely needs to be toned down, being punished for punishing a xeno is definitely complete bullshit. One PB will put you in major pain slow and take out half your health. A second will put you in crit and a third will end your life. If you're fighting more than one xeno and win, you fucking die from acid.
Although nothing feels more satisfying than PBing a critical xeno and bathing in the blood and gibs.
